Our unique wedding list...

We are getting married on 4th April 2009 and we are really looking forward to seeing you on the day.

We would love to finish our house and add a few special touches. As you may know we love art deco and "previously loved" things with character and charm. We often buy from ebay, auctions, charity shops, unusual websites and flea markets.

We have therefore given you a few ideas of things we would be really grateful to receive. Some items are readily available, whilst some may require a little more searching!

1. Browse the site and find something you/ we fancy!
2. Please reply to the item if you would like to "source" it for us, so other guests are aware. Some items are "multiple"...but obviously you don't have to get the total number (1 picture frame rather than 20!)
3. Click on the heading and then the comment box will appear underneath the item.
4. Please leave us a message, either with your name (click "name/URL" on the drop down menu) or anonymously (click "anonymously").
5. When something has "gone", i will make the post red - for future easy browsing!

For an example, of this working smoothly please see the post called "Testing, Testing....1,2,3"

Thank you...

Stock Pot/Huge Saucepan - Tefal Jamie Oliver Hard Anodised Stewpot & Lid, 24cm - £74.00

Stoods loves making stocks and boiling bones for hours!

We have borrowed this pan from GP for mass producing sweet onion chutney and stock making is at full speed ( i hope there is room in our freezer !) We like the glass lid.

This is a Tefal saucepan, endorsed by Jamie O - called a "Hard Anodised Stewpot and Lid, 24 cm" and can be found in John Lewis.

Pitcher/ jug - £72.00

Water..... milk........Pimms.....bunch of flowers..?

This is a beautiful ceramic jug with a pewter handle.

It is on www.whippetgrey.co.uk

Place Names - Zinc Leaf Labels - £36.00

Who's sitting where?...

We would like these zinc leaf labels, to use as place settings by writing names on them in chalk...... They will hang on the back of our chairs.

They are on one of my fav. websites www.whippetgrey.co.uk and come in packs of 6. Please can we have 2 packs (£18.00 each)

Slate Cheese Board and chalk- £29.50

This is a "medium" sized slate cheese board - but a large one would be better! It will be great laden with cheese with the varieties written in chalk.

This is on the Paxton and Whitfield website (www.paxtonandwhitfield.co.uk) but i have seen a couple of others on the internet...

Cheese Plates (8) - £85 for 6 or £15 each

We adore cheese.....

Stoods would prefer welsh rarebit instead of pudding and cheese is my "dessert island" food..

There are 6 of these lovely  Richard Bramble plates in the set - but we would like 8 - so please choose which to "double up" on.

Richard has a stall in Borough Market, SE1 or  at www.richardbramble.co.uk. They are also available on the Paxton and Whitfield website (www.paxtonandwhitfield.co.uk) and maybe in the shop on Jermyn Street  - but i haven't checked!

Le Creuset Shallow Casserole Dish (30cm) -£100.00

Perfect for Stood's risotto...

We do not mind whether it is in granite or teal as both will look lovely.

Le Cruset is often good value for money on Amazon - but can also be found in department stores and kitchen shops.

Clothes Airer - £47.99

Dull alert !

This is the rolls royce of clothes airers and will replace the very small, broken one we have which needs to be "specially balanced" to make it stand up (and may have been "procured" from 133a Stephendale Road!)

This can be found in Lakeland shops or www.lakeland.co.uk

Frames....Frames.... Frames....

Please help us perk up our uninspiring corridor into the kitchen.

We would like lots (20-30) frames of different shapes and sizes(for photos from 6x4 up to 10x8), in either black, silver/chrome, gold, bronze, or mother of pearl.

We will then have to try and choose which photos to put up!
obviously someone doesn't have to buy all the frames... many people can buy one frame!

2 tickets to The Mousetrap - £ ?

The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie is the longest running play in the West End (over 50 years) but we haven't seen it!

We would like 2 tickets, for any week night ...this will be an amazing date night!)

I often buy tickets on www.discounttheatre.com

Newgate Wall Clock - £85.00

We think this clock will look fab as it is quite big and very shiny - but can't decide whether to put it in the kitchen or living room, at the moment.

It is called the Newgate Quad Clock in stainless steel and is the larger size (40cm x 40cm x 9cm) and can be found on...

www.thenewgatestore.com and John Lewis.

Bread Maker - £99.95

Mum has one of these and it is her most used gadget, ever!

We agreed that when she stopped using it, it would come to Fulham for a 6 month holiday and then she could have it back....this is looking totally unlikely !!

This is a Panasonic SD255 Bread maker and is sold in John Lewis and probably other large department stores.
